VAPA is a big part of our Charter School! Our team assists with the following:

• Artist-in-Residence program where all students are taught art, dance, and music

• Our beloved Bellevue Play: An intensive after-school theater experience that culminates in two sold-out Disney musical performances at the Clark Center in February each year. Over half of our students LOVE to participate in the play!

• Our “Bellevue Variety Show”: For the past three years, we have coordinated a “Bellevue Variety Show” that allows our students to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, comedy, magic, science gurus, poetry reading, etc.

• Coordinates Special Assemblies: Bringing in local artists, musicians, dancers, actors, motivational speakers, and animal educators to share their craft and expose our children to a diverse array of the arts in our San Luis Obispo Community.

Join this group of parent and community volunteers to help coordinate our amazing “Bellevue Variety Show,” assist with this year’s play, or help find local assemblies. There are limited meetings, and participation is limited to a variety of commitment levels. We respect everyone’s time availability and have a variety of volunteer opportunities to allow for your involvement at the level your family is comfortable committing to.
