Scarecrow Festival will take place on Friday, Oct 18th after school. There will be scarecrow frames and hay in the garden Please bring clothes/supplies to dress your scarecrow!

Mark your calendars for a spring garden workday extravaganza.  We will be getting a handle on all the weeds around the garden. prepping beds for summer crops, building new compost bins, planting sunflower seedlings and pumpkins in the ground, and so much more!  

If you can, please RSVP to the link in ParentSquare so we can get a sense of how much food to buy.  Although no RSVP is needed to come, if you decide to come at the last minute, please join us!

Bring garden gloves and weed whackers if you have one and want to use it ;)

The next Garden Work Party will be on on Friday, April 12th from 3pm to 5pm. 

We will be pruning fruit trees, running irrigation to new plantings, planting new vegetable starts, and so much more! Please come and join us!

The January Garden Work Party will be on on Friday, January 19th from 3pm to 5pm. 

SNACKS will be provided.  Please make sure all children are under the supervision of an adult!  We look forward to seeing you there. 

This Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. will be our last Garden Work Party for 2023! We plan to make a party of it with PIZZA as our snack.

We will continue the tradition of decorating the garden with festive Scarecrows at our Scarecrow Creation & Picket Painting Party on Sunday, October 8th (and maybe Sunday, October 15th, if needed). This event is funded by the Bulldog PTO and brings so much festivity to the school garden...the children LOVE showing their family and friends their creations! 

For those families that would like to add a permanent artistic picket to the fence and support the final projects on the shed ~ countertops with sinks, kitchen storage countertops & shelves, and a workbench area in the shed

We supply the picket, paint, brushes, etc...just show up and create.  (Or you can also take it home and create in your own time.)  In the note on the PTO Venmo please state Picket ~ (Family Name). 

To paint a picket, please Venmo the PTO (@BSFCS-PTO) with $50 per picket. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
